Living Life
Living life. I talk about what’s going in my life and living it to the fullest. Your skin is the body’s largest organ and basically everything in your life impacts it. You skin will look and feel better if you can live a better happier life. I try to share tips also for living your best life.
Jerry and I flew out to San Francisco on Monday for a week of R&R and enjoying the cooler climate of a fascinating city.
I will admit that we originally decided to go to Montreal to indulge my 18 year old son who wanted to visit somewhere he could legally drink and gamble. Montreal certainly fits the bill with one of the highest per capita number of restaurants as well as the largest casino in Canada.
I was excited about going because it supposed to be the closest thing to Paris, France this side of the Atlantic. I was hoping for a European feel, fabulous French pastries and wonderful French food as well as some wonderful historic museums. I wasn’t disappointed on any count.
•So we are about halfway through our stay here in Huntington Beach and just enjoying the beach, the weather and relaxing. We have eaten twice at the Bluewater Grill in Newport Beach which is awesome as well as Ruby’s here on Huntington Beach. Last night we just ordered a pizza here onsite at ate it up on the balcony of our room. Tonight I think we are going to have dinner in the Red Door Lounge and take advantage of their Social Hour prices.
I know many of you followed along on my Facebook pages as Jerry and I took our first trip to Europe. I have a few more pictures to add to those and thought I would post them here for those who hadn’t seen the play by play action. And for what’s up next? We will be doing the North Texas Irish Festival next weekend for the first time ever! It happens at Fair Park in Dallas and runs from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. (March 2 – 4).
Next on my list to tell you about is our new soap Lavender & Lime. I just uploaded it to our website and you can find it with our Signature Soaps or listed with the New & Onsale items. It is a fresh, clean scent that is particularly perfect for those who don’t want too strong of a scent.
We are back home now and getting back to normal after the HSMG Conference and then 5 nights in Key West. I thought you might enjoy a pictorial of our visit there. If you are planning to visit I show some of the restaurants we ate at and the things we did. It’s very laid back and we had a great time! We love to learn about the history of places and so that’s a lot of what we did.
Today we visited the Vizcaya House, located in the Coconut Grove area of Miami. It was built by James Deering or International Harvester fame and fortune. We decided to take on Miami’s public transportation to get there which ended up being a bit of an experience. On the plus side we met a very nice girl from Moscow, who is here in the USA and planning on studying engineering.
